As a Vietnam veteran who managed to survive a full 13 month tour in 69 and 70 and one who has never seen the Vietnam Wall Memorial in D.C I am thrilled to be able to experience a painless and FREE tour to Perryville with Mid-Mo Veterans Express, A three hour luxury coach ride to Missouri’s National Veterans Memorial, two hours there to pay respects, a nice lunch and we’re out of there!

No disrespect is intended to our fellows who conduct Missouri’s Honor Flight, but at 75 yrs old feel it might be too much for me even though I am relatively mobile. I just feel that the flight there, the transfers, the rush to see the Wall, the WWII and Korean Memorials, important as they are, then the long flight back the same day, would be a challenge to me physically.

Now it’s time to reveal that I am not just a Vietnam veteran, I am a member of Mid-Mo Veterans Express and proud of it!

Everything I said above is true, I am excited to be on the first ever tour coming up real soon, October 18th. That’s just TWO WEEKS from today!
